A local dealer has a 73 just like this one on his floor for display. It's going to be interesting to see the new and old together in the flesh steel. I missed this bike by seven years so the nostalgic tug isn't all that strong but, in black with the cafe fairing, it just tingles...

The old Car Talk show had a puzzle about this. If I remember correctly, someone was questioned by police, and told them he hadn't driven his car for a week. They looked at the rotors, which were lightly rusted, and decided his story was true....

Check the abs sensor cable on the front. Sometimes they touch the rotor and wear through, sometimes intermittently grounding out on the rotor, sometimes permanently....

That's it! Mine came with the first top case I bought BTW. Looks ok with the case off, but that hasn't happened anyway as my smaller case is so handy I leave it on my bike all the time. I easily change to a 33 liter for out of town trips or special use locally....
