I can dig it, it's the answer for your scenario. My occasional commute is Fla to Colorado or NC and back and am usually towing a trailer with a small motorhome or a big truck. Would be nice to do that with something that could pull 6-8,000lbs and get great mileage but I don't for...

what I have been most surprised by, is the cost to rent class C RV's. Even at a 175.00 per night motel room cost, a Class C rental is TWICE that. I was thinking/hoping it would be the same if not maybe slightly cheaper than a motel room. I know lots of people rent one to &quo...

Tri750, it's not a hard R&R. Just get in there and pull the HES. Send it to GSAddict for a complete rewire and then put it back in the bike. You'll never have to concern your self with this again....

The cost per mile analysis posted here is interesting... I think basically we are all quite close on costs... Just depends on how close we account for our $$$. I would find this most useful in a comparison of other bikes, in a real academic study. I think in the result w...

For me, it's a big no no for using kerosene in this application. It is not a lubricant in that sense. It is fine for washing down components that are static, but not for the gearbox. Just run normal gearbox oil in it and change it very soon if you want to be sure....

I never planned to take up space in the ground after I'm dead. I'm also cheap, so no funeral costs do I want the family to incur, nor do I want them to have to pay for my disposal. My wishes since I met my wife over 20 years ago was full body donation, if my family want my dust...
