Made it back safely. Despite my stay being shortened, it was a very fun and much needed break. Great to get to meet so many of you, looking forward to the next time. Thanks to all involved for hosting a great event.

Wonderful twisties for better than 80% of the ride home... even managed to stretch it out to almost 400 miles

Great time seeing so many of you again (yes, even you Richard ) and meeting so many new folks. Hope to see you all in '08 at the PNW UNRally!

Cheers to all,
Kirsten

I didn't even think I was going to get to go!; I finally arrived at the Quality Inn at 8:10p Wed. I received several great welcome's; Jamie, the bear hug was most appreciated after a long, hot day in the saddle, and Rich, the Scotch was excellent

And I wanted to repeat the thanks to everyone who put this together; it was great!

Left this morning at 6:30a, and after a number of beautiful miles through the back roads of WV and OH, I made a 'spirited' high speed slab run back to Indy (my excuse is that I wanted to beat the rain ) and arrived at 12:30p. My wonderful RT performed flawlessly (thanks buddy, I'll clean ya up in a bit) but heavy rain did catch me for about 5 miles just 16 miles from home (so close!!), but we dried off long before getting home (putting on rain gear under an overpass while getting hit by truck spray from behind, and blowing rain from the front almost defeated the purpose of putting the gear on ).

Next year, in Jerusalem!!......er, um, I mean 'Washington!'

Well I have to say that I spent every minute of my rally time with Les and really enjoyed it. All 15 minutes.

The catch is, we didn't show up to the rally site til Friday morning at 10am after everyone but Les and a few others had gone. So we talked to Les for 15 minutes and then split for home. I think we brought the count of attendees up to 152 or so.

Home!

Nothing fancy on the way home - some good twisties in WV before hitting boring Ohio again. But I arrived safely and now need to try to clean some of the bugs off the bike.

Great time and it was excellent meeting many of you.

Jim
