Can't seem to get it to hold anymore. Is it done, or is there a fix?

There is an adjustment.
If it is not obvious to you when you unbolt it, or if you want to wait, or both, send them an e-mail and they should be able to send you instructions.

From another post.

The TM comes with a black colored friction sleeve that fits over the end of the throttle tube and under the hand grip. The end of the hand grip is rolled back to fit the sleeve. Make sure the sleeve is still in place and was not unintentionally removed with the old grips. Make sure the friction sleeve is fitted squarely to the throttle tube.

Turn the TM fully clockwise to fully disengage. Loosen the TM mounting bolt with an allen wrench. With it fully clockwise, adjust the gap between the friction sleeve and the TM brass piston to about 1/8 inch. Tighten bolt, then turn TM counter clockwise to engage TM and check operation. If it is too loose or too tight, loosen bolt with TM fully clockwise and adjust the gap again. It may take a few iterations to get the gap where you want it.

CAUTION!
If you have heated grips and tighten the TM too much, the heated grips will expand and 'lock up' your TM. Not good when you try to back off on the throttle and it doesn't budge. Put your grips on high and test things out.
A credit card makes for a good gap gauge. You want it to be just tight enough to bareley hold the trottle in position and nooooo tighter.

I got a wrist rest to supersede the T-miester. Found that my hand was worn out after trying to overcome the drag. Now I have light throttle and the position of the Crampbuster lets me cruise at a comfortable pace without discomfort.
