Check out someone with an Aeroflow screen on an R12. They are noted for quiet rides, and minimizing wind. The downside is that they are hot in summer. I had one on my R11 and I could get it really quiet by adjusting the height. Too hot for me in the summer.

I purchased a Cee Bailey 1" taller and 3" wider than stock shield. I am 5' 11" inches tall on a good day.

With the shield down all the way I get some wind noise, raising it about an inch creates a pretty quiet air pocket.

I am very happy with it. Big difference from the stock shield on an 09.
