Afternoon, Just got a quick question about Big-Mak tankbags as I already have one but have been trying to contact them with no luck,So the question is, have the fallen victim to our lousy economy and closed up shop or am I just not hitting the rite time of day???? I've called a number of times as well as E-mails and nothing.....Thanks for any answers in advance....

I believe you hit the nail on the head. Out of business.

I dunno..... I don't think Mark is out of business. Not a fair thing to post unless you know it to be true.

He is a one man show and I have ordered a couple of different bags and mounts from him over the years.

I would call his direct cell number shown on his web site and leave a voice message for him.

I did just that, called his cell, left call back number as voice was full.. I didn't think he was gone under as website is still fairly current but in this world, anything is possible.. Hopefully he'll get back to me in a few days so I can put some money in his pocket when he makes me a new tankbag platform....
Thanks for the heads-up........

Go to advrider.com and send him a PM. His user name is BigMak. I don't know when I last saw a post by him, but he's definitely around. I have no idea of the state of his business though. He's probably just out on a road trip or something.

Loved my Bik Mak on my R11RT and was looking to buy one for my R12RT. Customer service used to be excellent, now it's virtually impossible to contact him. I tried all the methods on his website before going to the BMW bag, which I was happy with.

I don't like any product enough to go through that hassle. Wouldn't buy anything from him until he's interested again.

I recommended his bag to my friend. But he was impossible to get in touch with.

My friend gave up, and bought another tankbag.

I can't get hold of him either. We worked out a deal over the winter and went to buy about about a month ago and he never got back with me.

I had a tank bag deal with him 4 years ago that was not that smooth. He was hard to reach even then. His last post here on bmwst was over a year ago.
