If it's blue and white probably the one I had over there in the sixties. Wait, mine was a '64 and no sunroof.

Pat,

That GSA is in the land of snow.

Riding season shorter.

Heck, w/22,000 miles, putting 10k /yr, the bike is good 'til 2036 or so.

Sorry, but I've never ridden an oilhead that I liked. I always wound up comparing them to Laney's VFR, and I really like the VFR.

No apology necessary. Different rides for different riders!

I never rode an oilhead that I didn't like, which is why I still ride one!

I'm trying to imagine how much that bike would weave, wobble, and flex with my 220 lbs sitting on it.

Not cheap but if he gets what he's asking, they are increasing in value. Where's the ceiling though? :dontknow:

Pat

A really good friend kept a 1994 model year of one of those through raising 3 kids. He never had money for the bike, but he is a BMW certified tech, so he kept it running. Sort of. When I last saw it the front tire was worn square and the cam lobes were worn to the point the bike couldn't get out of its own way. These days he rides a KLR and cusses BMW.

That's my 91 K100 RS on its way to Tucson with him. I hit a huge pot hole in Missouri and broke the motor mount off the cylinder head. He fixed it and rode it once. Insurance wasn't in the budget and the thing was too fast ;) It got him the KLR so all's well that end's well

That Guzzi is sweet.

Yes, but I'm not so sure it's $12 grand worth of sweet.

I'm guessing unless a Hollyweirder buys it on a whim that this one will sit till the price falls in half.

Don't be a hater, it's just bid and ask.....

I was lucky to ride one of these around northern CA a couple of times. A friend owned it. Unfortunately it got totaled by another of his friends.

Same bike.

Lust, honeymoon, for sale.

Repeat.

Beautiful bike.

I guess that satisfies my question of what it's like to own a Guzzi. . .

The description of the Guzzi on Craiglist makes it sound like it is more of a re-creation than a restoration, a one-off custom, rather than "like-new".
