Richard and I made it back to the Bay Area safe and sound and I got to scrub in my new PR3 on the way.

It was a fantastic 4-day weekend and I enjoyed seeing EVERYONE.

Great job putting this together Joe and Juanita!

I had a great time talking with an riding with all the friends we share. A few new faces too make it all the better. On Friday Spartan, Jonathan and I rode a 140 or so mile dual sport ride I think I can speak for them and say we had a great time in the woods and ranch lands.
The Oakhurst Lodge by all accounts served us well. The layout is pretty good for a group like ours. Three very close food establishments. Walk in stumble back. Plenty of other restaurants. A few with private rooms large enough for many many hunger people. Foo foo coffee close-by. We packed Pete's Place for Saturday breakfast. Locals had trouble finds tables.

I was asked by a few folks how many people and bikes showed up. I really didn't count heads or bikes. I had asked for the motel to hold us 25 rooms. More were needed. The manager told me 30 rooms were rented. The owner said 35. Take your pick. Some riders chose to select a different motel due to a bad rap. One of those bad reviews was actually for a different motel as it turns out. No alligators in the pool. AC functioned. Grounds were spotless. Rooms were as expected.
Next year will likely be the same format as it is so much less stressful for me. I'll try to comply with the wishes of a few to have the event not conflict with MotoGP in Austin, Tx. Frankly I don't believe it'll make much difference in their plans. You better tell MotoGP to publish their 2014 calendar soon.

I loved seeing the snow riding(pushing) pics. I have a few pics too to show of Friday's DS ride and will get them up soon. I didn't snap any on Saturday's ride up to Shaver Lake and beyond with Heck, Tank, and da Bumps.
Thanks to all because without you there is no event.
Below is a list of 39 riders and guests from memory and we all know how well that is. Someone was left off the list for sure. Chime in.

Yevgeniy and I made it back to San Jose about 2pm yesterday. Had a great time and really enjoyed the weekend.

Yevgeniy said to say thanks to everyone for making him feel so welcome!

Also heard from Gary yesterday - he made it to Arizona about 5:30 after 603 miles.

Cheers and until next time.

So what's everybody doing next weekend? clap

A big thumbsup to Joe, Juanita, and the Oakhurst Lodge.

Two days riding to get there via Alderpoint, and two days riding to get home via Clearlake. Mostly we just hung and socialized in Oakhurst. We admit to a wee ride to Mariposa via Raymond for coffee, but that's about it. It was short enough that we still have some rubber left on the shoes.

Was great to see everyone!

Oh, and officially, Bullett and Twisties are back from the land of the interminable car pool lane.
