Searched and didn't find where a car had been discussed, but I though we had a user who worked with a transport company -- any ideas?

I need to get a Jeep Grand Wagoneer from Raleigh, NC down to Orlando, FL, and don't have time to drive it myself.

Recommendations gladly accepted, as I'm just down to searching Google and seeing who pops up.

Uship

I've used this site for cars, a backhoe and other stuff. Just post what you need shipping from where to wherever & people will start biding on it.
Have had no problems so far and the rates are reasonable.

I've used Uship.com as well.
Once my vehicle was trailered, the other time it was driven - both experiences were just fine, and I have no complaints. But since each transaction is with a 3rd party provider, you need to check them out.
(Much like buying something on eBay, where you're actually buying from a private seller, but eBay is simply the middleman making it possible.)

We shipped one from the west coast to PAX River but, can't find the company name. It was a tiny bit of a hassle due to a language barrier.

Given where yours is going, what about waiting for the Blue Hair / Snowbird migration? rofl

Nice one! Anyone know a blue hair who wants to drive a diesel Jeep with full power steering for 10 hours? Radio works just fine!

Are you sure you want to do this? Anyone else seen episodes of "Shipping Wars" on A&E? It's Uship. Just saying.
