Does anyone installers a Flash 2 Pass garage door opener on a 2014-2016 RT? I had one on my 2010 RT which worked very well. Just am not sure about the new RT and If this would throw error codes.
Thanks for your help.
John

I would think that the extra current that the Flash 2 Pass garage door opener would draw would be so miniscule when compared to the headlight current that it wouldn't matter.

I bought a small "Clicker" from Menards and put it in my right hand cubby. Works for me, and I can open both my shop door and garage. So I don't have any experiences to offer on Flash2Pass.

Same here ... small three button garage door remote velcro'd to the top of my right glove box lid. Opens both of my doors and is locked up when the bike is locked. I pull up to the door, engage my hill hold (pretty much the only time I use that but it's a really nice feature just the same), pop open the cubby and I'm good to go.

Just a guess, but this sounds right. I looked at the wiring diagram for the latest product and it's downstream of the high beam switch. Given the fact that our RTs' electrical systems have to accommodate at least some variation in draw among the various headlight bulbs that are on the market, it seems reasonable to conclude that the added draw wouldn't cause issues.

Just to jump in here. I had the flash to pass on my previous bike and wanted it on my 2015 RT but was nervous about the can bus. I did as allot of others have done and velcroed it to the inside top of my left glove box. Took all of three minutes, no screwing around with wires. When I get close to my house I just pop open the glove box , push the button and ride right into my garage. Just as easy as Flash to Pass

Have F2P in my GTL and 9T no problems, great product. Looking to install one on my new Indian and I could not find the product available. I read somewhere they may be out of business. If that info is wrong please let me know.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Interesting that many of you use the clicker in the glove box solution.
For those that did use the Flash to Pass, can you tell me where you accessed the wiring for the bright lights? I'm picking up my Haines manual tomorrow and think I'll install the FTP unit this weekend.
