Anybody live near this place?
National Power sports, 800-509-2390. Pennbrook, New Hampshire
All this talk recently and this place has a reasonably, if in good condition, Ducati ST3. Looking for someone to eyeball it for me. THank you.

If it were a bit warmer I'd bike it up there and take a peek for ya.

I had an ST-2, you must only buy a Ducati in Red. Like a Ferrari, only red brings it out. They are loud on idle and they are expensive to repair. They do not hold their value, as a BMW does not. They are very fast and light. On my "Test" road, there is a small bump, my BMW, barely moved at the very illegal speed I went over it, the Ducati left the ground at the same speed! They steer on a whim so you have a great feel for corners and they encourage speeds that no mere mortal on public roads should travel at in our world. Good luck with your choice and try to be close to a dealer, remember, there is a reason you don't see many of them.

Thanks Pat. I've had a number of them over the years, my favorite being a 92 907ie. Had a couple of 900ss, an ST2 and a ST3, and thought I'd kicked the habit until the recent thread had me thinking. My RT is a much better all around bike, but some of you know the feeling. If I can just get through the next day ...

Hi,

I'm too far away to eyeball it for you. I have looked at several bike for myself they have had. I found talking to the sales person and a complete set of 360 degree close-up pictures helped me understand the bike and that is did not have a specific feature I wanted on the model I was thinking about. The general beauty pictures were not detailed enough to see the handlebar levers I wanted on the bike.

We have had snow today in New York City and I imagine it's real winter up there. You might be able to talk to them and get a better deal this time of the year.

Good luck with your search.

Francis

Thankfully, that moment of retrospection has passed and the immediate urge has passed. That's not to say I wouldn't still like one, but not one a thousand miles away and I need a new truck more than an additional toy.
