i-beem
Hey all, switched over from a twin cruiser and enjoying the heck out of my RT. Looking for suggestions on boots; tired of the clunky heavy leather boots and my chucks tennis shoes don't cut it either. Seems like a million brands out there, don't need high-end racing boots, just a comfortable all around sport-touring boot. What have you found that works well? Thx Link to comment
ltljohn
I have the TCX goretex boot very similar to the Explorer seen HERE , comfortable and dry in the rain. The best advice I can give is do your research the go try some on. Link to comment
John in VA
Alpinestars Gore-Tex Web boots serve me well. Very comfy, not heavy, warm in winter. Link to comment
Rougarou
I picked up some Tourmaster Solution's from Shopgoodwill.com for something like $25 or so. Gotta be patient with goodwill though for size, brand and price,.....watch out for the shipping, sometimes makes the deal not worth it. Link to comment
Lemans
Daytona Roadstar GTX...pricey but absolutely first class gear. They show up occasionally on fleabay and the advrider flea market sites. Link to comment
powwow
+1 on Daytona Roadstar GTX. Mine have held up very well over that last 10 years of riding and the Goretex has kept my feet dry in the worst of downpours. Link to comment
Joe Frickin' Friday
Bought Alpinestars SMS Plus Gore-Tex boots a couple of years ago. Not cheap, but they're waterproof, comfortable, and well-armored, and I would get them again. Link to comment
duegatti
Daytona Roadstar GTX feel like slippers compared to some of the Sidi's I've worn. Link to comment
The Rocketman
Dainese Fulcrum C2 Gore-Tex Boots. Best I've had yet at a reasonable price. https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/dainese-fulcrum-c2-gore-tex-boots Link to comment

Seems like a million brands out there, don't need high-end racing boots, just a comfortable all around sport-touring boot. What have you found that works well? Thx I have been wearing Danner #43011 boots for several years and find them to be comfortable both on and off the bike , check them out at a Danner dealer , here in PA they run around $170 and I usually get two years wear out of them. longjohn
Mine are a few yrs old but they look very similar to these. Water proof and keep you warm, but still wearable in summer. Doug_Baliko
I have been wearing BMW AllRound boots. They are Gortex lined, and I can attest that they are totally waterproof in the hardest downpour. They are also very comfortable on the bike and walking around. Doug Link to comment
moshe_levy
I have tested a few boots for the mags over the years. In my personal collection, the best all around low priced but full featured boots have been the Sidi Deep Rain and BMW Allround. -MKL Link to comment
AZgman
I just replaced my boots with First Gear Kathmandu lo boots. Very comfortable and with great support and protection! Link to comment
lawnchairboy
http://www.motorcycle-superstore.com/13215/i/gaerne-balance-oiled-boots Most comfortable best all around waterproof I have owned, so far. Once or twice a year they get a bees wax rub. Love them. You can get them for less in many places, just used the site as an example Edited September 24, 2017 by lawnchairboy Link to comment
