Medical Alert Systems Recommendations

Fortunately not for me.

For my sister recovering from a stroke & my month shy of 95 Uncle that refuses to slow down but unfortunately looses his balance all to occasionally.

Must be a stand alone system so they can be covered at & away from home.

Are these cellular phone antenna based?

If so, Verizon has the best coverage in most areas so would prefer a system associated with them.

I've had a Chaperone cheap system (uses land-line) for my mother for several years, and I've never been disappointed.

Whatever system you get, be sure to put a lock box by the front door and tell the Chaperone people the combination. If they have to dispatch EMS, they'll tell them the combination. Otherwise, they'll knock the door down if no one answers.
