I am in pursuit of an 18 RS on it's way and want to add a GPS. On the Build Your Own it adds the IV but I've read here that the V is newer and better. Why does BMW only offer the IV on the build? Pushing old stock? Five doesn't fit? A lot of money to make an order mistake. Thanks. I've been after a new RS for a few years..hope it happens soon!

I am showing that the only option for the 2018 R1200RS is the new BMW NAV VI. This will fit directly into the GPS prep cradle.

Way out West
VI is the current model.
Nav V and VI are only ones compatible with the wonder wheel controller.
IV-VI fit same cradle.
Get the VI,has the best screen!
BMW is throwing in the Nav VI on many new bikes sold by end of year.
