92Merc Posted March 17, 2018 Share Posted March 17, 2018 If you have family, or the weather doesn't cooperate, I highly suggest checking out Flags and Wheels in Rapid City. It's an indoor track. They have regular go carts that any family member can drive. But they also have "Extreme Race Carts". If you are a speed demon, it's a blast. They'll do over 40mph. Get a competition going where best lap time wins. The building isn't much to look at. But after you race these carts once, you won't care. 92Merc Posted March 18, 2018 Author Share Posted March 18, 2018 Once you get the feel that these cars actually drift through the corners, you get a work out. It's only 8 minute ride. But after the first time, my arms were so tired from yanking the wheel to drift the corners. I have to go ride at least once anytime I'm through Rapid City. Link to comment
