bike won't connect BT

I have a 2016 r1200rt. I'm having trouble connection BT. I went to the BT settings on the bike and unpaired all devices. I also unpaired all devices on my 20S. When I try to connect the bike BT to the 20S the bike quickly recognizes the 20S as the unit to pair to, but, when I start the pairing process the bike says "successful" in just a few seconds, however, it never connects to the 20S. I tried connecting multiple times with no success. Is there a electronic reset on the bike that I can perform? Has anyone experienced this before?
