TEWKS
Found this on Motorcycle Daily. appears to be developing an anti-slide system powered by a rocket blast. Interesting. Pat Link to comment
AviP
Goodbye lowsides! That is cool! I wonder how often can that rocket fire. And how is the burn duration determined. Link to comment
Danny caddyshack Noonan
Wow. Hit tar snakes at the right time/speed and angle and that will empty your wallet. As long as it doesn't result in thermal treatment like they do just down the road...... Edited May 18, 2018 by Danny caddyshack Noonan Link to comment
waynerd
Tar snakes generally cause ME to release a little gas. Maybe with the proper technique, I can use that to my advantage... Link to comment

elkroeger
That IS interesting, and remarkable! Makes me think that in the future, all vehicles will have some serious gyroscopic control of every turn, stop, skid, etc. with something like this. Imagine this technology on your car, when you start fishtailing in the ice and snow. Wow! OTOH, say goodbye to doing donuts in the school parking lot. Glad I grew up when I did! Skywagon
I can't even find ethanol free gas here...I'm going to guess rocket fuel will be hard too. :+) Link to comment
BrianM
Seems to be releasing a gas, not a rocket, as in burning a propellant. Link to comment
J. Paganel
Rockets have attitude thrusters. "Rocket man" sounds way better than "thruster man". "Thruster Man" sounds like some bootleg porno... Link to comment
Hank in WV
Not sure I'd want to be riding next to that when it went off. Link to comment
Joe Frickin' Friday
Not sure I'd want to be riding next to that when it went off. The alternative is that the other guy's bike lowsides and crashes into you, since you're riding to the outside of it. With proper gear, i'd much prefer a transient jet of warm rocket exhaust against my leg versus a two-bike tumble into the weeds. Link to comment
Selden
I'm guessing that the fuel is hydrogen peroxide, which makes a good rocket fuel because it can activate instantly. But, it is highly unstable, and degrades over time, so it would be useful for a race bike, but not so sure for a street bike. Link to comment

It can be used as a propellant by itself, but if you read the Wikipedia article, it releases steam at over 1100 degrees F. You wouldn't want to be standing next to that if the system malfunctions. Bill_Walker
It seems to me there's a potential for this to turn a lowside into a highside as the front tire regains traction. Link to comment
