NickInSac
The dealer in Show Low (Can Am side by sides but not a Spyder franchise) was hesitent to work on the bike and also claimed to be buried in work . Sooooo ..... All members now accounted for back in Tucson. In case you're wondering why not use the nice enclosed trailer peeking out from around the corner ? Its because although the interior dimensions are good, the actual opening for the door considering the framing for the hinges is such that the Spyder won't fit through Oh no, we had our Spyder front tire go out on the wonderful Colorado road construction. We hit a tractor/trailer tiedown strap. One of those giant 3" ones with the ratchet. It was a "short" 110 mile ride back through the west and down the east side of the Rocky's to get to the Can-Am dealer, who had the tire, on a Saturday. We continued on to Utah. Went through Arches, Canyon Land (sort of), Bryce and Zion. I had my own "lost a locking valve nut" experience here. We went through more of Utah than we wanted. This are the things we will remember about this trip and meeting so many more great members from this board! Thanks all! Nick Link to comment
RT Russ
We are finally home in Smoky California. The truck and trailer are in Kansas City until we return for round 2in mid September. What a road trip it was......5000miles, 7 National Parks, rode (and partied with) great friends and even spent some time with distant family. Seems strange to be in 2000 square feet after being in les than 400square feet for a month. Was a great unrally! Russ and Peggy Link to comment
