Well, that is really good news!

WOW ... I had heard of these laws but had never see first hand details. Amazing! While most was a win it still worries me of what the future holds.

One of the big players in this was John Deere tractor. They have some pretty sophisticated software and hardware on new tractors. Not just engine management, but autonomous control systems where you can have the tractors plow or harvest all day without an operator. They got real upset when some farmers were fiddling with the software.
