Hey guys I have a 2002 R1150r and I am looking for two accessories
One being a charging system for my android phone.
Unlink the RT'S I have no side outlet... the only thing I have is a charging end out from the battery for my trickle charger.

Do they make a charger that plugs into this? And if so do they make one that has a hard disconnect off switch that makes sure im not draining Battery when not in use?
I'm asking because I had a charger previously that connected directly to the battery but if you didn't ride in two weeks by the time you went to start the bike the battery had been slowly drained out by the charger connection.

Next I'm looking for blue tooth ear buds that have a mic that works inside a helmet... i have ear buds that work but no mic... and i have wired earphones that have a mic but they don't "feel" good under my full face shoei and I have on more then one occasion nearly pulled my ears out of my helmet forgetting I'm plugged in and standing up from my bike... yes I know its stupid but I still end up doing it at least once a month.

I'm not looking for a walkie talkie system or a rider to Rider system... just a basic Bluetooth phone set that works so I don't have to pull over to take a phone call

Any advice or links is greatly appreciated

For the phone charger....

You didn't say what kind of plug you have for the trickle charger but if it's like mine, something like this would probably work. You can just unplug it when you don't need it.

Phone Charger

Or for cigar lighter type:

Another Phone Charger

Search on Amazon and you'll find lots of choices.

Okay charger was found thanks to Mark's amazon recommendation

This is the one I'm going to go with

2 USB, power button, water proof, connects to the handle bars, and a cable long enough to go back to my tender end.

Thanks again Mark.

Ear buds are not pleasant.
You can get a good Bluetooth headset that mounts in your helmet for a hundred bucks. Lasts 10hr.
Will do phone, gps, and of course phone playlist of music if you wish.

Tri750, yes I know they never seem to fit right... its literally a 5+ minute job to get my helmet on and earplugs "feeling" right before riding each time.. I dislike the look of the exsposed microphone... i feel like a flight attendant... my feelings may change here eventually... but as of right now I would rather not look like I have anything on my helmet... i have no idea where that preference comes from... but I'd rather just have concealed Bluetooth that connect with a mic in the cable ifI can find it... thank you though for the suggestion.

Poodad I'm checking that link out now, thanks.

I've been using skullcandy BT earbuds. Works fine for me. Fits inside the helmet, I can talk on the phone, and answer it without too much trouble. But dialing out required me to stop and get the phone out. Not sure how well talking on the phone would do at freeway speeds. The sound quality for playing music works fine for me at freeway speeds tho. Some models fit inside the helmet better than others. They're available lots of places and reasonably inexpensive. mine have about an 8 hour battery life.

I'm a man, and I can change, if I have to, I guess.
