temesvar
For few reasons, I intend to remove the heated grips on my RT. First , I don't like the thicker, bigger than average bike, grip. Would like to install some stylish Rizoma grips. And I don't find the need for heated grips anyways. A good pair of gloves will solve the problem. I need the heat on the outside of my hand. The inside is fine! I didn't take the throttle apart yet, was just wondering if it can be replaced with a standard size 22 mm sleeve? Link to comment

Evening temesvar Then I doubt that you will find a generic throttle sleeve that will fit your bike. You can probably remove the heating element then scrape the sleeve clean & end up with a usable sleeve. Or buy a used grip on E-Bay (for a cruise control 1200 bike)-- maybe find a non heated grip sleeve but those are few & far between. Or buy a junk heated grip sleeve & scrape it clean. Link to comment

I would rather trade it for a non working one. Anyone interested? If not am buying one on ebay. Thanks again, D.R. Link to comment
