Now that the holidays are behind us, I think it's high time for a meal at the Grizzly Cafe in Wrightwood. Angeles Crest Hwy is still open at this point, but who knows for how much longer!
I'll be at the Shell station on Angeles Crest at the 210 this Friday, Jan 5, around 8:45 am. Heading up the hill at 9 or so.
Meet me there, or anywhere along the way. (Just let me know where).
Hope to see you on Friday!

Haha I was up there last week, Sat I think. I brought liners with me and didn't need them. There was a bit more car traffic on the Crest, but overall I would say that the light freeway traffic to get there and back was worth it. That holiday weekend may have had something to do with it. There was some ice in the gutter area of some curves, and it certainly has gotten more humid in the last week, so I would be more wary of ice on the road tomorrow.. Oh, and I have never seen the road so free from baby heads and footballs. I should be there.
