Admins and those smarter than this poster - I've never been able to figure out how to use the font tool to increase or decrease font size, What am I missing?

Thanks

I've never been able to make it work either. Like the font tool next to it, I just assumed someone chose not to use those options on this board.

I think these represent bbThreads options that have never been turned on, as I'm on another forum that uses bbThreads where these features are enabled. Disabling the text editing buttons also seems to block doing your own markup by enclosing text in markup tags, so you can't get around the system. For example, even with the closing tags, these won't work:

[size:20pt]

[font:Arial Black]

Don't fix it if it ain't broke, don't break it if you can't fix it.

Dave,
The "Styles" settings that we use have default font sizes for everything on the board. I'm no expert, but I don't see any settings for allowing different fonts as Selden suggested above. I guess we are missing something here as the editor does have the font selector and size boxes, but are empty. I'll keep looking.

Thanks for taking a peek. You mentioned "Styles".... that might be the problem. Style and Yours Truly are oxymoronic.
