oilhead1100s1150rt
Good Day, I have readouts from my dealership, they are saying replace service unit, $3500. Not ready to do that. Here are the readouts. Can anyone confirm or reply specifically to the report? Fault condition: Main computer cannot active the ABS indicator light Condition for fault ID = Voltage supply 9.0 < U < 16.0 V Condition for fult memory = ABS indicator light does not match the activation level of main computer Action = Check wiring harness, check control unit Note on effect of fault = none Driver info = General warning light active Procedure text from report: Test result - the deviation values of the internal pressure sensors are outside the specified values check drift of internal pressure sensors - Notes = ABS pressure modulator may have been too hot....... Feedback welcome, has anyone read these reports before? Thanks, Dave Link to comment

The main one that you need to pay attention to in the one I have highlighted in blue above. On the I-ABS systems the modulator internal pressure sensors are the usual cause of failure & not available to buy anywhere. My suggestion is to get an opinion on your test report from a company that specialized in ABS module repairs. That company is Module Masters. You can probably call Module Masters then read them your test report or call & ask if you can text or E-Mail the report to them (they are a friendly company to do business with). Link to comment
