R1150RT running boards

Hi! I bought a used set of Ilium running (sport) boards. I had no problem installing them. I may need to add a rear brake pedal extension for better access to the rear brake pedal. I thought the boards might interfere with the side stand but it did not. Everything looked good except when I went to put my motorcycle on the center stand, the left board blocks access to the center stand. I managed to do get my motorcycle on the center stand but it was very difficult. Is there a modification available so I can get easy access to the center stand tab? What problems do people have with sport boards? Advice? Go back to pegs? Thanks!

I sold a couple sets and vaguely recall something to solve this.

From the Ilium website :

"Included in the kit is a stainless steel Toe Tab for the center stand bracket for easier access."

The joys of buying used.

Maybe the PO still has it unless he was the third or fourth owner.

Ilium will probably sell you one.
