Proper way to store brake parts

I just acquired the complete brake system from a R1150RT. I don't need to use all of the parts now so I have several spares. What is the best way to store used brake parts? So far I have emptied the brake fluid as best as I can and pushed the wheel cylinder pistons back. Any suggestions?

Take the calipers, masters etc apart and wash everything in hot soapy water, rinse a couple times and dry. I would pull the seals to make sure all the old fluid is removed. I then coat the seals, pistons with a light coat of Raybestos Silicone Brake Grease that can be used on internal brake parts and put things back together ready for service. This is a specific grease I am recommending.

For the lines flush with lots of water and use and air hose to dry. I wouldn't keep any old rubber flex lines myself but they can be done the same way.

I'm not sure what to do with the ABS unit or if you are worried about it.
