BMW emblem on top case peeled off

The emblem peeled mostly off. Still has a small amount left on upper left corner. How do I get the rest of sticker off and can you get a replacement

You can buy new badges from maxbmw.com or from your local dealer; not all that expensive.

To get the old badge off, try using a piece of fishing line to kinda saw through the adhesive holding the badge on the case.

Fishing line or dental floss on a sunny day with the trunk warm .

Residue off with WD40 or Goof Off.

You can use a dab of silicon sealer to put back on after cleaning both surfaces with Isoproply Alcohol .

Apply, use masking tape to secure overnight.

Hi Walt,

This happened to the case on my 1150RT. I used a hair dryer to heat it up and was able to remove the remainder. I then applied more heat to remove most of the glue. A final cleanup and prep was done with Plex to remove the residue and then alcohol to ready the surface for the new logo. I've also used 3M adhesion promoter to prep the surface on other parts/bikes and it works really well.
