Windscreen swap

Will a windscreen from a 2001 R 1150RT fit a 1998 R 1100RT?

It will, BUT a small change needed to the black plastic trim pieces that sandwich the screen. you'll have to snip off the plastic locator nubs (1 each side) so the trim pieces flush fit into the screen.

The 1100 has an extra hole in the screen for this nub .

There will be no negative effect to doing this as obviously the 1150 did without it.

I did mine when I wanted a VStream for my 1100 and they hadn't made it yet. Only the 1150 was in production.
