2002 R1150RTP coil pack on R1150rt

Quick question I can't seem to find the answer for.

Can a coil pack from a 2002 twin spark R1150RTP be used on a regular twin spark R1150RT?

I have the rtp coil pack for sale and a fellow who has the regular model is interested but neither of us knows if it will fit or what modifications may be necessary.

Yes, no, & maybe so.

It won't work with the standard (civilian) twin spark plug wires as they won't attach to the threaded coil.

It will work if the coil is used with RT-P shielded spark plug wires (costly).

It (should) work IF the RFI cover box is cut apart & the internal coil is removed & mounted separately. (not sure how involved this is but not real easy)

The rtp plug wires are attached to the coil pack and included. I'm only asking $30 for everything so the buyer can't go to far wrong.
