What exactly are you trying to do? Where would you like to add it? Do you want it to be read only?

Please provide some additional information.

I’ve taken a pdf file of the 2018 jaso ma oil list table and exported to excel. Had to do quite a bit of edits so sorting and or filtering could be done by members to id which manufacture produce the oil spec they need. So a user would need to sort and filter but not edit the data.

Under the full message editing box you will see "Post Options".
Click on "Attachment Manager".
A box will pop up that prompts you to select your file. Maximum size per file is 97.66 KB.
If your file is larger you will need to host it somewhere else and then provide a link.

Ikraus it's the same data you posted in my "Motorrad ADVANTEC" posting but in Excel instead of PDF and I think the size is 75kb so let me give it a shot.

Another option is Google Sheets. You can easily convert your excel to google sheets. Once converted google sheets provides an easy link so you can post your file. A nice feature with this system is that you can update your google sheets file and it will automatically be updated in the link. This is what I used for the un-rally "Who's In" list.
