No, not in Coeur d'alaine Idaho, Closest was Moscow ID. One proposal submitted was just south of Glacier National park in 2014. Moscow Id won out. There is some decent riding out of where you suggest, but I think there are better locations to ride out of. this is my back yard...…

We could/should look at Canada as a destination Un but with the 40% of US people having passports (and the fear of a no gun law up here) might scare off doing one here. One fellow suggested Nova Scotia, same passport issue.

I'd like sagerider to do another Un in Topaz lake, or coursegold kid to do one in Calif, or we could do another in Moscow Id.

The Arkansa Un needs another go on the east. Great location, great roads. Hwy 21 and 23, yes.

Have we ever had an Unrally in Arkansas?

Routes are both numerous and varied, lots of twisties as well as well maintained roads. The state actually encourages Motorcyclists to come visit, offering recommended routes and things to do via brochures and the internet.

Just a thought.....

That (AR) sounds like a great idea, but while I realize it’s technically “west” it sure looks east from here (WA). wink

*insert witty remark here*

Yep. UnRally Dos was there. Much trauma ensued. Friendships ended. The guy who ran it is lucky to still be alive.

(PS, heading to Denton next month for a wedding. Send favorite roads. Meeting Son In Law in Nashville for some of the Trace, then we need to boogie on in)

Jake , I also don't remember it being all that bad. Well.... other than the 2 pieces of cold pizza my wife and I got at 8 pm...

Arkansas ridIng was great. Some how hwy 21 and 23 still come to mind. We've been back to the Ark since to discover more great roads in the east and more to the north in Missour.

Go for the Ark

4 distinct memories: Mark yelling something like, "Remember, we have kids at home" as DCB sped away on the Ducati with Christine"; rain-soaked ride home; great roads, some covered with chicken shit from Tyson poultry haulers; and having coffee with you, Jake.

I was in Switzerland recently and I didn't see one person with a knife!

Ya see that?!! Just bad management, I'm telling' ya. No worries, just poking a bit of fun at myself. The magic of Un1 is everlasting to many, so we really worked hard not to upstage it. :-)

I'll be heading through Arkansas next month, so I'm looking forward to reuniting with some of the great roads there. There's a bunch of 'em.

[Per the guidelines in this forum, Arkansas is East.

Quote
Eastern means to the right of Lebanon, KS, the geographic center of the continental U.S. So eastern Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas, all the way to the Atlantic Ocean. Austin, TX probably qualifies for the east, San Antonio would be borderline, but we can talk. Anyway, you get the picture.
