Electrical shift assist '06 R1200RT

Hello to all! I've just had my left ankle partitally fused. I'll have some up/down motion. Short of a newer model with shift assist, has anyone seen or heard of a solenoid shifter placed on a R1200RT?

You're welcome. Do you think you will have enough motion for a heel and toe shifter. Could be built by any local fab shop, especially one that does stainless work for the food industry. The heel and toe parts could be made to flip up so they wouldn't dig into the side of your boot. Lifting your foot would let them fall back into place for shifting.

Ya know, I hadn't thought of heel and toe shift levers. Thanks. I'll know a lot more when my cast is off. You've given me plenty of ideas. Thank you!
