Sure! I haven't done any planning yet, of course.

Booked. I like Sculpin IPA, thankyouverymuch.

Great! Place looks real interesting so now we can get the full tour!
I’m sure we can find you a good IPA at the Kernville Brewery......

See ya there

I'll prolly take 405>10>pch>topanga>saddle ridge Rd>piuma>malibu>mulholland>decker(23)>126>150>33>166>maricopa>I-haven't-figured-this-part-yet>kernville. I figure I have to leave maricopa by 2:30.

Right now, Google Maps says the fastest route is to take 166->223->Caliente-Bodfish Rd., because there's a closure on 178. But I assume that will change before November. Still not a bad way to go, though. I took 178 two years ago and found it pretty scenic, and fun if there's not much traffic. I took C-B last year, which was also fun. Memory is a little hazy, but I think it was in decent shape. There's a turn that's easy to miss if you're not using GPS.

There are several roads on your route that I haven't ridden, never having played much in the Malibu-Mulholland area (whatever those mountains are called). 33 over the hill is fun.

Those are the Santa Monica Mts., and some of those roads are fine. I sometimes make a day of it and ride 'em all day. The Rock Store is there for food on Fri Sat Sun, and another cafe just around the corner on Sierra Cyn, I think, is open every day. Latigo would put a big smile on your face. Oh, I didn't put Grimes Cyn on the itinerary as it's part of 23, and it is short but NICE.

If you want to tag along on Thu, I figure the latest I could leave would be 10am. It would make for a long day for you tho.

John, could you suggest a good meeting place and time if Bill and I are to join you? Thanks

Sounds like a plan is coming together. This could work.

Ok. There is a 76 as you exit the 405N Manchester offramp. It has a Circle K attached I think. Anyway it's a gas station store with sodas, chips, restrooms bottled water etc.

We could meet there 9:30-10am

GM says that on a Thursday morning that's between 1:50 and 2:50 from my house, but of course, it doesn't know I can use HOV lanes. I think that's doable.

Another option is to go north and come in via 155, either via 99 or via Granite Rd. But that'll depend on time.
