Here's a funny thing - if I use forum software to insert an image it appears sideways:

But if I go to the address of the image (use it as a link) I get right side up:

Lee,

I opened that link in a new browser window and it was right side up. I then copied the image and pasted it into a photo editor and it was sideways.

What was the orientation when you took the picture? There might be metadata that indicates the picture was taken in one orientation, but should be rotated when displayed.

Brian — thanks. I went back to tinypic and re-uploaded. Tinypic then showed my last 3 uploads and it was sideways there. Don’t know how that happened because the original on my cell phone was taken as a portrait.
