Ok I need a high quality umbrella. Need Large size, I guess you would call it golf course size? can be standard size, i.e. does not need to be collapsible. strong, handles wind, large coverage. These will be used at my church to help people entering. I will be buying 4 of these and would like them to be around 20.00 - 25.00 each. Any suggestions, or better a link to item would be helpful. thanks

Randy...I did some research on this for myself a while back. Golf size umbrellas are in the 60-62" range. You can find some in your price range, but they will unlikely have the vented wind protection. For that you are about 2x minimum of your price. Regular size umbrellas that have wind vent are pretty expensive too.

It I were limited to the $25 range and need it large enough to escort someone, I would get a golf umbrella on a fiberglass rod. They are pretty good overall and will withstand some pretty good wind. If the wind is blowing so hard you need one with wind panels, you are going to get wet anyway as the rain will hit you sideways in all areas not protected......I ended up buying a couple from REI that are about $35 each. I think they are 45 Inch with wind panels. So far no collapse, but have not been tested in high winds.

No direct experience with any other than those available at WalMart ... which actually have been pretty solid. No vents, but pretty wind resistant.

However, google is your friend ... just look for "golf umbrella" and you'll be overwhelmed with choices from Amazon, Ebay, Dicks , multiple golf shops, etc

Glad you said that 'cause I was gonna ask for you to return your man card ;):D:/ ,.....even suited up I won't use an umbrella and I don't run from a building to a cage/cage to a building when it's raining :/
