Excellent post!

May I suggest adding the PN's for the RT-P oil cooler fan? One of the most appreciated bit of info I found on this site (it gets well over 100 out here).

Sure. Do you have them handy?

R1200RT-P engine oil cooler fan:

1. 46637690869 fan shroud
2. 17117656030 fan
3. 07119931026 washer 3 needed
4. 63127682829 bolt 3 needed
5. 06327651204 bolt 2 needed
6. 51127070202 clip nut 2 needed

Note: Only 1 and 2 need to be from BMW. I used surplus S/S bolts for mounting. Feel free to delete my posts once data is added to original post.

Here is my contribution....I always wondered if it would be beneficial for this thread to be a sticky. I give the same money back warranty.

Hi Ken,

How about the single pancake to 2 horn conversion:

All you need is the two horns (61 33 8 381 271, 61 33 7 655 882) from the '05, one screw (46 71 7 675 209), and one of the cage nuts (61 33 1 459 545).

Thread

Is the silver paint the same on the valve covers? My intuition says yes...

Thanks!

They aren't actually painted, more like powder coated. But I believe the noted color is pretty close.

Thanks Ken,

I couldn't tell...I dropped my scoot for the first time this past weekend and I want to get them touched up. I might have them powdercoated black...hmmm...

when do you think Clymer will put out a manual for the 2007 1200RT? I can't find anything.
