I bought and installed new battery in my R12RT from ebatteriestogo.com. The brand is Universal Battery, part number UB22-12N. It has 22 amp hours (stock is 18) and cost $74.95 delivered. Size is perfect and works great.

What a great idea. Thanks for the time it took to get it started.

Adapter lead pigtail - 61127701299

This short lead is what connects the rear accessory socket to the harness. Applies to mid '06 bikes any beyond.

Great for tapping into as a switched power source to either trigger a relay or low power devices.

Thanks to krussell for researching the p/n.

Reference post.

This is exactly what I did to hard wire my GPS. Works great and there's no need to tear into the main harness. Thanks 99Roadster!

Great posts thanks! Stuff like this is why I joined. The service schedule list didn't have anything past 12,000 for the R12RT. I'm sending mine in for 24,000 plus annual today...anybody know whereI can look to find out what I'm getting... besides poor?
