My brother drives semi and I sent him the video of that Swift truck all over the Dragon. He wasn't impressed and answered back that his map showed an 80 mile alternate route and that is what he would have taken if going that way.

It was not a Swift truck but rather one from http://structall.com/
If you look on the side of the trailer you will find that as well as their ph# (800) 969-3706

I agree 100% about the trucks not being there BUT,

"These vids speak for themselves. These maniacs should not be behind the wheel at all !!!!!!!!!!"

I think this quote could easily be used to describe many of the motorcyclists riding on that same stretch of roadway.

After watching these videos and reading all these posts I think that whatever interest I had in doing the 'dragon' has been diminished significantly. There are a lot of other roads in the mountains of NC, VA and TN that I'm sure can provide fun rides without the hassles that seem to be part of the "dragon' experience.

Wow. I've had a lot of fun on the Dragon, but I'm not sure I want to go back after seeing that video. Seems like trailers over X length ought to be outright prohibited from going through there.
