i just finished watching the movie "the painted veil" starring naomi watts and ed norton....i think it was made in 2006...i can't remember when i last saw a movie this powerful....highly reccomended

A British medical doctor fights a cholera outbreak in a small Chinese village, while also being trapped at home in a loveless marriage to an unfaithful wife. Watched this over the Christmas Holiday and thought it was an excellent film, the scenery and locations where stunning and Norton played the eccentric English Doctor really well.
