On the high part of West Virginia, today January 31:

Yes, and coming back through Virginia it went over 70! I did one of my favorite summer rides: Breakfast on I68-Kaiser Ridge, Seneca Rocks, back on small roads. Can't get much better than that!

Hey Paul,

Some of us still have to go to work, but I did get out after that for 60 miles, including a minor incursion into northern Carroll County.

I'm with Dennis, jealous as all get out. Keep setting that bar high, so we'll all have something to aspire to.

I would love to get out on the open road but I am between bikes. Thanks for sharing. I have got the bug again and this site is allowing me to live through others till I can get another bike.

Last time I checked there was no road block keeping people trapped in California. Also, I believe that the still have bridges over the Mississippi, though I think they forgot to tell some of the people from the west. wink

Yes, there are plenty of roads leading out of California. And I've been across the Mississippi on occassion. Though there are more than enough riding roads in California to occupy any free time I might have. That's what I'm envious of, free time...

We have been lucky here in Maryland last month. The weather guy said we had six days above 60F.I do not ever remember a Jan. where I got to ride quite a few days in comfortable temperatures.Only hoping Feb. stays as mild Paul.I am impressed with your milage on the GS.

Echo that. Paul is a great example of the joy of riding. And the mileage total on that bike is impressive. So my hesitation at buying a rental fleet 2007 GS with 70 or 80K miles might have been misplaced. I suspected as much.
