A lot of folks consider Bike Week to be what's happening at the track. The track is certainly a major attraction for locals and visitors alike. I like to go down to the track and park in the infield for the 200. But, there is so much more to see when visiting this area, inside and outside of the city limits. There's always the festivities down town on Main Street. Get out of the city and ride out to Cabbage Patch or head north, up US 1 to whats known as Main Street North. Some might consider all these establishments as dives, but if your visiting, it's all worth checking out while your here. I used to live in that stretch from the Iron Horse North, and my favorite watering hole has to be Smileys Tap, just a bit north of The Horse on the other side of US 1. It's just a small, home town watering hole.
Granted, the Law is everywhere with radar. These events are a cash cow for the area communities. I've lived in this area for 28 years and have never crossed paths with a LEO. There are plenty of ametuers with strait pipes to get their attention. Just keep the speed limit. I'm more concerned with the ametuers with too many beers in them.

DOH.... That would be out of the way. I meant Arkansas. Maybe so of you folks living in Arkansas, could recommend some of the good back roads we could hit.

Pretty much any road in northern Ar. will be a treat. The Ozarks are a real rider's dream in my opinion..

The Rat's Hole Bike Show was always the one event we did not want to miss.

The second UNrally was held in Eureka Springs AR. After that I try to make it a overnight stop as often as I can. Nice hotel/motels at all levels, good restaurants, nice oldtown. A center to great riding. If needed, nearby is a excellent BMW dealer, Bentonville BMW.

Riding down from Boston. Already have a ticket to the Daytona 200. What time do you veterans recommend getting to the speedway on Saturday? Also, where's the best place to park? The website doesn't even tell you when the races start.

usually racing literally all day. infield is the best, but should be plenty of room outside of the track.

Anyone know about camping inside the track?

Can't camp in the infield, the nearest campsite would be off ISB. The Holiday Inn Campground is pretty nice, the MOA and RA usually stay there.

Not disagreeing about the camping but last year when we rode into the infield area there was a bike & tent set up. Special pass maybe? Only one guy, that in itself seemed odd.
