BMW_Ken
Made it home about 11:15. Nice ride through Shady Valley. Enjoyed the seeing everyone and the riding. Thanks Craig, Ken, and anyone else involved. Link to comment
Bernie
Home at 7:30 PM on Saturday evening, after having to leave one day early. I had a great time at FART, riding and meeting up with friends. Rode the BRK to Ashville on Saturday and then slabbed it the rest of the way, as the tires where bald anyway. A big thank you too Ken and Craig for organizing the event, finding this gem of a motel and creating another great set of routes, with many new roads for me and many other attendees. Link to comment
Foot
Home at 1:30pm. My attempt to beat the heat failed. It was 97 degrees at 1pm in Dunlap, TN. Ken, Craig great job as usual. Dave you were good company on the way home. Alan Link to comment
ltljohn
Home safe at 3:30. Craig and Ken thanks again for another great event. Link to comment
TyTass
We're home at 4:30. Made very good time despite traffic, lots of speed traps, a very nice hour-long breakfast, a "real" coffee stop, and gas stop along the way. The best riding partners all three days, fabulous weather, and tons of laughs every evening. We agree with the comments above and last night about the venue ... it's a exceptional, clean and comfortable (great suggestion, Ken) ... there are fantastic roads all around (too many to cover in one long weekend, I assure you) ... and very different scenery from what we normally see. I hope Ken and Dave arrange another START/FART there in the not too terribly distant future. (Look at me, I'm only one day out of the Organizer position and I'm making requests! LOL). Link to comment
K12rider
Got home to Bethesda,MD 4:30 or so. Thanks to Craig and Ken -- Great event - loved it and will try to do another. This was my first rally of any nature -- glad it was FART . Enjoyed meeting the group and the wonderful rides. Barry Moss -- one of the FNG's to this venue Link to comment

Slumgullion
Chris K and I did about 400k to get to Hotlanna (98.5 F) the last hour was brutal! I had a blast riding the excellent routes thanks to Craig & Ken for doing an outstanding job and all the work they put into organizing another outstanding FART. Thanks to Randy Shields for finding my Zumo I am in your debt counselor! Thanks to Alan for great Sena conversation and of course Chris K with leading. Link to comment
StretchMark
Home after a side trip to Athens. Great time as always. That was an excellent location. I sure have fallen behind on the technology, but my "old" bike and my quiet helmet still put a smile on my face. Thanks as always to Craig and Ken and whoever else for their efforts. Link to comment
lawnchairboy
Home at noon after an early critter-surrounded departure. Thanks ken and Craig, another great location. Link to comment
Endobob
Thanks to Craig and Ken for another fantastic venue and event! Home at 4:30 PM after 5 days of great fellowship with old and new friends; 1500 miles of riding some fantastic new roads for me and great routes laid out by Craig, "both" Kens, and of course Bernie's modifications and additions to those routes! We need to go back to this area again, I found myself on many roads that were some of the best I have ever ridden and most without any other motorcycles or vehicles on them. Link to comment

DaveCinNO
Home at 7:45pm including 100 miles of heavy thunderstorms in MS. That cooled it off a bit as a saw 100+ on the bike thermometer. Great weekend, thanks Craig and Ken for organizing this and ordering the fantastic weather. Link to comment

There is a bartender at Baywood Boys that would confirm that some of us were there watching the Volunteers beat the Gators. He was an Alabama fan, so it's either Roll Tide or anyone playing Florida. Goodness, I better go out and get some more HPs underneath me if I ever plan to do another one of these. He's liable to put us all in Bristol Motor Speedway for a change of venue... Link to comment
TyTass
Nice pictures Dave - thanks for posting! And again thank you for stepping up to take over Craig's role and working with Ken on our STARTs and FARTs! Yes indeed! Muchas gracias, Senor Dave. And, you actually are quiet enough to actually take time to take pictures, unlike some folks we know! I also would like to acknowledge a somewhat silent partner over the last few years, who doesn't get enough credit ... Joel. He has been contributing the stickers for some years now from his own company, Sticky Business. He and his artist, Jason, have done an outstanding job of making these exceptional mementos. Well done and thank you very much, Joel! Link to comment

Dave's got the ball now?!! Goodness, I better go out and get some more HPs underneath me if I ever plan to do another one of these. He's liable to put us all in Bristol Motor Speedway for a change of venue... Granted, Craig and Ken have a well oiled machine, so it might take me longer than usual to run it into the ground! Jake - I'm glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read your comment - it would have been all over my new monitor. If you keep staying away - it'll be more like Sebring Raceway where you'll have no choice but to join us! Seriously - This board and these events have made quite an impression on me and I consider it a privilege to fall in behind Craig, despite the fact that he left some tough tracks to follow. Ken and Craig have been patiently bringing me up to speed. Speaking of Jake - it's thanks to him that I made my first FART. I always considered that a good thing, except now I realize he's not made one since . . . Link to comment
terryofperry
Had a great ride up with these three wonderful lads: Harold's Restaurant, Gaffney, SC, featured on Food Network with Guy Fieri. Caught this out of the corner of my eye, thought of Kiley, a beautiful young lady Equestrian, Pat (Tewks) and his wife's daughter, had to get it. Stopped for fuel here but no joy: No fuel here either: I like old barns: Had a super lunch here before hitting 421, highly recommended. ltljohn met a new friend, Danny from the musical Grease, wanted a ride but had no helmet: Stopped here for a minute: Ron (Savannah Capt.) spotted this from a distance and wanted to investigate, turned out to be an old abandoned school: I can never pass up an old steel bridge with a wooden deck: Another great lunch with these guys at Bootleggers: Terry Edited September 28, 2016 by terryofperry Link to comment
