Clemson wins!
Congratulations to the Clemson Tigers for winning the National Title!
Capping off a great year for their school, coach, and players, they defeated the undefeated to become the first school since FSU to lose in the national title game and then come back and win the next year.
The ACC demonstrated all year they were the best conference this year, won the most bowl games, culminating in the Clemson victory.
So congratulations, Go Tigers!
Beating Urban and Nick in back to back games, on neutral fields, wow!
Enjoy your season and well deserved Championship!

Now if the Dolphins can somehow draft Renfro to make up for the long ago loss of Wes Welker, the world would be a better place.

Good for Clemson. If their game plan was to keep the pace up to somehow wear Alabama out, I'd say it was executed to perfection. Watson sure is a gamer.

Jake - I'm a life long Dolphins fan. I got my #13 jersey out of the mothballs Sunday for the game - first time in 12 seasons the Fins made the playoffs (yea, it fits a little tighter nowadays tongue ). I had it back in the bottom drawer by the 3rd qtr.

That was quite a game last night!

Very quiet around here this year...
As far as working FSU in, did I mention we open with 'Bama next year?
Two game ACC streak?

Crazy that the last time Clemson beat Alabama was 1905...longer than the Cub streak.
ACC went 9-3 in the bowls and SEC 6-7 (I think).
Used to be on ESPN that was a barometer.
Not this year.
Out of conference against Power 5 top 50.
ACC 21/22-12, SEC 15-17.
Used to be a barometer.

Anyways, back to original scheduled program.

Just read that Deshaun Watson grew up in one of the homes that Warrick Dunn has helped provide.

Seems that a lot of people have very positive things to say about Deshaun Watson.
Perhaps he will follow in Warrick Dunn's footsteps, have a great NFL career, and pay it forward, like Dunn has.

Ooof. Bama is not accustomed to losing two in a row, though if FSU was to pick them off it might as well be early with Bama's new roster.

Yes, it's a nice story about the connection to Dunn. Even more kudos to Deshaun and, as Bobby would say "his Mama", for making the best of their circumstances. Deshaun's been paying it forward for a while now - I'm sure it will continue.

Great win on and off the field.
