New Member from CT

Picking up my new 16 R1200RT in blue tomorrow from Max BMW in Windsor CT. Real happy with the deal but more importantly, the people. Everyone has been great to work with so I'm looing forward to a long, positive relationship.

Coming off a 1k V-Strom which served me well but am looking for more protection and comfort when eating miles. No more dirt for me.

Been lurking for a while prior to purchase and will continue to gleen information from the search tool and other.

Welcome! You won't believe the difference in the V Strom and the new RT. Each has a purpose, but when eating miles it is hard for me to jump on the V Stroms!

Don't be bashful, if you have a question about your new RT, the "Wethead" section will have a lot of info and that is the quickest place to get answers.

This seems like the time (deals to be had) to be in the market for a new RT! Welcome & post us up a picture when you get a chance.
