That was one of the best days I've ever had riding a bike - met Andy at godforsaken O'Clock in the morning and we rode up to Ambleside, then on up and over the three highest passes in England together before coming back down and doing a loop of the Duddon valley, stopping for lunch in a little pub, then riding back the way we came before stopping again at Lake Windermere for an ice cream.
From there we headed home - I got in around 9.30pm having covered 500 miles.

I'd do it again in a heartbeat!!

Yes, that's an R1150RT-P, with the -P designation for the police model.
