Well, a bear might cross your path, right Alan & Jim? :jaw:

Just don't wear a florescent yellow jacket - that seems to attract them. :dopeslap:

And wear brown shorts - just to be safe

Awesome, thanks!

Yeah I am a bubblehead, although fast attack, not ballistic. So we weren't the ones failing to get your messages. Hopefully I can make it and meet everyone. Only board event I have been to was a Spring Torrey event back in 2006.

You were the guys us Helo ASW types were looking for!

Glad you're aboard for the rally, bring the family, include them in the events, many of us have brought our kids to the rallies in the past.

In, registered, reserved.

I'm sure I owe Bud a beer, wanna see Burt's new bike, need to see what this guy Mike looks like, have plenty of catching up to do with Ron, and need Matt to convince me to move to Austin.

I better pack some serious swill, cuz Dave, Grieffster and Craig are going to want some.

Jake, I'll bring you a special bottle of Texas brown water. that'll make you want to at least come visit the hill country.

You're onto something Craig...

In the UNs and events I have been to, there's not been a big group of spouses/SO or kids there. I am glad to see that changing.

I know I used to have all kinds of fun bringing Nathan with me to events, BRRs, UN-X, and Lord knows how many Cedar Key lunches, SECFF, B5Q/RCR, and Bike Week/Biketoberfest things that rascal has been too.

Bring'em if you gottem!

With that cast of characters, I better find you on arrival if I hope to taste a sample! You could bring a trailer loaded with your bikes, that would give you room for an ample supply of Hooch.

Looking forward to seeing (and swilling with) you!

I know I just posted the list a couple days ago, but I thought I'd post since we just hit 50 attendees. Please keep the registrations coming. The more the merrier!

I thought for sure I had registered and I have a confirmation number 201610173827-2584920 from Eventzilla. I just don't see my name on the list.

Sorry about that. Yes you are indeed registered and show up on every spreadsheet, the EventZilla website, payment complete, etc. I simply accidently deleted your names instead of another couple who canceled. Brain Fart.

I'll post the newest and COMPLETELY REVERIFIED version shortly.

It is so cold here that I watched a blue heron across our like from one side to the other W/O getting it's feet wet. (But they sure were cold!)

What took you so long?

He had to make sure that he had enough vacation time to make the long ride over and back!

I took me this long to plan a route to the UN!

Let me know if you need some help :stir:

Are you still planning your route there? Is that why you haven't signed up yet? ;)

I am waiting for Nancy to make up her mind. It might be a while! Either way, I'll be there.

Honestly, I thought that might be the case. Happy to know you're IN, either way.

Hiya all ...

Sorry for the long stretch of silence, but I've had a busted right paw and haven't really been up to typing much one handed ... left-handed at that. Typing was one of those odd things that caused a lot of pain ... especially "mousing." Got a trackball yesterday and that really helps, though I'm really slow with it at the moment.

On Monday, my GP recommended I go see a hand specialist/surgeon and warned me that I should expect surgery. I may well be showing up to the UN sans bike. But as the main point is to see everyone's smiling faces, that's not too much of a sacrifice.

The good news is that over the past 3 days since seeing my GP, the pain has subsided greatly. While I still may need surgery, at least I can get back to being active on the board.

I know it's still the widdle of minter and for many of our group the snow is deep, it's bitter cold, and riding is pretty far from our minds.

However, I just want to remind everyone of the REGISTRATION CUTOFF DATE: 15 April 2017.

April 15 will be here before you know it. So, please give this trip some thought now and do all you can to clear your calendar for June 26th-29th, and travel time, of course. This truly is a remarkable venue, with remarkable roads, and the best people.

Keep in mind ... lots of people here want to see your smiling faces, or RBF (if applicable). Doesn't matter. People want to see you! And there are many others who want to meet you for the first time.

So please don't procrastinate if it can be helped.

Funny you should mention trackball. I have been a trackball weirdo for 15 years. My wife just shakes her head. I just shake my head at those who use a mouse! It is a bit different, and it does take time to learn.

Not moving your whole arm a million times a day....priceless!

I hadn't considered attending before but I am thinking about it. I plan to be in Vermont in early June. The UnRally is located on my way home, but about two weeks after I plan to start home. It would be two weeks tacked on to a trip that will already be about 6 weeks long taking me from Guadalajara, Mexico to Creel, Chihuahua for few weeks, then to Charlottesville, VA, then Boston, then Vermont, before returning to Guadalajara.

So I don't know but maybe.

Wow! That's a trip! I hope you can add Fontana Dam on to that trip. Would love to hear stories of your trip sittin' by the pool in the mountains.

Terri finally fought back, eh?

For the pain, I recommend at least 2 shots of bourbon every hour, on the hour. Trust me, I've dated doctors. And I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once....
