Scam. It's listed in Las Vegas as well.

Kind of felt that, it's in NH too. That not being much of a stretch, but Vegas... :cuz:

Yes Tim, it was the one you linked. I thought about it just to have a 2nd bike in the garage next to my 2013 for visitors and because I like that vintage. But I was several hours too late and at $4000 I think it, on the surface anyway, was a great deal. Oh well.

Extra Corbin Seat (wrapped in sheepskin for style and. . . comfort)

Nothing screams "style" like a sheepskin seat cover.....

To each, we have hundred's of thousands of miles on 'em, usually over an Airhawk for LD rides.

Works great hot/cold weather, not a fashion statement, function.

YMMV

Tank dent is reason for rebuilt title? Must have been some dent.

When I started riding again, I bought a Honda 1100 Shadow. High sided. Small dent in tank, replacement cost >$1,100. Totaled.

there's something a little incongruous in the pics of that ad...also, the copy is very scant for someone selling something like that. Could be totally legit, trade or whatever, but.... hmmm.

Bike runs new

Nothing needed

Fond memories of my 94 RSL but suppose after riding some of the newer bikes over the years, a re-ride may quickly wipe the nostalgic gaze off my face. :dontknow:

IMO though, this is still another one of those "a lot of bike for the money" deals!

35K miles for three grand.

My RSL was a joy to ride. Run all day at whatever speed, handle the twisties.

What's not to like

Mine was black... :dopeslap:

Pretty much the best BMW color going! ;)

In my opinion, BMW's always look the best in black. I have never owned one, but I am always tempted by the older black R1100RT's.

Ah what the heck, one more!

The picture of a picture thing isn't really working out so well but, you get the picture. Photobucket is kicking my butt also, I think they want money. :read:

My buddy Jim and his Valkyrie on RT 113 on or at Evans Notch.

Pat,

Is that an RSL?

I'm having trouble seeing lower fairing and silver accents...

please go find it, ride it, and take another pic.

Yes Tim, RSL. This was a limited paint color (I believe it was called classic black) for this bike in 94. I believe Red, Pearl White and a Green were standard. No silver on the lowers for 94.

A bit special (should of kept but I say that about them all) being an RSL with the limited color.

Ok a first year.

They only brought about 1200 total over here.

I've seen red, yellow, black, teal, white, solid, and then red and black w/silver accents.

This was a great bike, rode it almost into 6 figures darkstar_zpsqnggslqp.jpg

All black, with the requisite Corbin rumble seat.

Loved the monoposto look when it is down, ez for adding passenger.

Took a while to find one for mine.

Richard, this thread is guys/gals talking about cool motorcycles for sale. :shake: IMO, really doesn't matter where they're advertised. :java:
