Fork seal replacement

The fork seals on my R1200RT 2007 need to be replaced

I'm looking at the RepROM for the replacement procedure and it mentions a bunch of tools needed for the job. Like: internal puller, thread adapter, pull rod, impact weight,sleeve and impact bush.

Are all of these tools needed or can something else be used instead?

I just saw this video of a fork seal change on an 1150

Is it the same on the 1200?

It looks very similar and his procedure is much simpler than the one in the repROM

I did the job today

I followed the procedure on the video and adapted it to my bike.

Much easier than the RepROM procedure

Back on the road tomorrow
