S.O.B.
After years of not owning a BMW, I bought my first used 2014 GSA a few months ago (and absolutely love it!). I am in need of a shop manual, and owners manual. I'd like to get them PDF online if possible. Any recommendations? thanks, Dan Link to comment
greiffster
Dan, A PDF of the owners manual is easily found with a google search. The shop manual is a bit more difficult. Link to comment

marcopolo
Dan, go to A&S BMW's website. They have the maintenance schedules. Just scroll down the page (see link below), until you come to water-cooled R models. Essentially, there's some type of service due every 6,000 miles. If you don't put on 6,000 miles in a year, there is an annual service that applies in that case. If you're easily putting on 6,000 miles in a year, you essentially alternate between the 6,000-mile service, and the 12,000-mile service, for the life of the bike. Also bear in mind that some service items are time based. For example, brakes are flushed, front and rear, initially at one year, then every two years thereafter. https://www.ascycles.com/bmw_motorcycle_service_and_maintenance_schedules Edited June 5, 2017 by marcopolo Link to comment

AZgman
If you buy the Haynes service manual be aware that it is pretty poor. The worst Haynes manual I have ever had. However, it is better than nothing, and I think I only paid about $20 for mine (amazon.com). Edited June 6, 2017 by AZgman Link to comment

Any recommendations? thanks, Dan You are going to have to pay for the shop manual, and as somebody else had said, getting the JVB DVD (http://www.jimvonbaden.com/Wethead.html)is good! For the rider's manual, you might as well go to the source, where you can get other manuals that came with your bike in pdf format as well: http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/index.html?content=http://www.bmw-motorrad.com/com/en/services/manuals/manuals_main.html¬rack=1 Select the type of manual you want from the left column and your bike model/year on the right.
