Roger C
Any electronic wizards out there that can diagnose and repair a bad motronic 2.2 unit? Mine went south when my alternator belt shredded and wrapped around the pulley and pulled (and destroyed) the HES sensors, apparently sending some bad signals to the motronic. With a good HES I carefully jumpered the HES plug to the cycle plug and read -0- voltage from the motronic when I should have seen 12 volts. Link to comment

There were numerous units on ebay the other night and I bought one for $50. It is supposed to be here Fri. Seller said I were dissatisfied, he had several more I could try. I bought a warranty thru ebay for about what the return shipping would be, so I should be good to go. My old unit might be a nice repair project for the electronically-gifted. Link to comment
